I may not know your struggle but I do know our God. Our God is a waymaker, a promise keeper, and a light in the darkness. Our God split the Red Sea, and HE made a way for us to be with HIM in eternity! If you’re going through something this morning God wants you to know this:

The fear of defeat is a lie placed by the enemy. As a child of God you’ve already received the victory! It’s not always easy and yes storms will come but the Lord has a plan and a purpose So hold onto the promise because victory is coming! The Lord is about to bless you so big you won’t be able to contain your shout, don’t throw in the towel keep pressing toward the mark, for the victory is coming its been claimed by the blood, so hold on just a little longer!

Hold on church cause God ain’t done yet and HE’S about to move in a way we ain’t never seen before so just hold on!

These last couple of weeks as my parents and I have battled covid-19 my anxiety has been high. I’ve struggled with panic attacks, one of which was one of the worst I’ve had in years, but yesterday as I was sitting outsidecI was reminded I’m safe at my saviors feet!

Jesus has not left me and HE never will! The struggles of these past weeks have been eye opening to how wonderful God’s Grace and Mercy is! I’m truly blessed!

I got lost in the chaos
I got distracted by the noise
Now overwhelmed with your presence
You take away the void

I got lost in the battle
Lost sight of victory
All the while
You were fighting for me

Oh the blessings
That you bring
Oh the Mercy
That rains
Oh the beauty
That fills my heart
Thank you Lord
For pulling me out
Of the dark

I got lost in my regrets
I got caught up in past mistakes
But through Calvary
You made a way

I lost sight of Who I am
Lost sight of WHO made me
But Lord you still
Bring Victory

Oh the Mercy
That rains
Oh the beauty
That fills my heart
Thank you Lord
For pulling me out
Of the dark

Rain drops on a window
Racing to the ground below
Tear drops staining cheeks red
Salty rivers gushing down
Her face, she said goodbye today

She said goodbye to her innocence
She said goodbye to her soul
She said goodbye to the spark in her eye
For HE took it forcefully
Leaving her breathless
And wishing for death

She stumbled through a haze
Depression came in waves
She lost herself for months on end
All because of him

She finally gained her composure
When she leaned on family
Her mother reminded her
Of all her good qualities
Sometimes her heart still gets heavy
But she loves with all she has
She’s a warrior for the weak
And She’s mighty despite her scars
If you hurt her be weary
For she’ll disappear from sight
Like the Raven when it takes flight

So today God spoke to me, and what HE had to say hurt a bit, but it was true.

If you want to be valued like Esther, loved like Rachel, and adored like Ruth. You’re going to go through hardships, stop leaning on everyone who gives you attention to measure your worth. Your Father deemed you worthy when HE sent HIS son to die on Calvary. Stop seeking what you want and seek HIM, there’s only peace in HIM, let HIM lead your heart to the right one, you just be prayed up and in HIS will when you do.

Ladies I’m not saying this to step on anyone’s toes, we’ve all had out hearts broken by the wrong guy, but thats the point, the heartbreak is a blessing in disguise, and the moment you see it that way, the more grateful you become that God is clearing the path for something greater. See yourself through your Father’s eyes and not man’s, seek not man’s approval but the Will of your Father!

Sometimes God takes us through things to remind us who we are. It’s tough sometimes you want to give up, sometimes you question your purpose but you’ve got to remember whose hands your in.

You’re in the hands of the Father, creator of the universe, creator of Jacob, Issac, David, Moses and many others, the important thing is HE created them for a purpose just as HE created you for a purpose. Just because you’re going through a storm does not mean you aren’t loved, you are so loved that the Son of the most high God gave HIS life for you, you are valued, don’t let someone who didn’t deserve you define your worth and be careful who you share your heart with, not everyone will care for it as God intended.

We have been chosen to tell the world about Jesus but many times we stay silent for fear of being judges or mocked. Jesus stood up for us when we had no other way, so when HE calls us we should go.

Interestingly enough I’ve been reading the story of Jonah, and this is what has been on my heart:

We are called to spread the Gospel to a lost and dying world (Nineveh) but we choose to hide (boat to Tarshish), and in the end we get swallowed up by the world (big fish/whale). God’s Grace is so great HE will call us back from the world and renew our purpose, (fish spitting Jonah out on land). Don’t be fearful and do not pass judgment on those in sin for you once were them.

In essence if you are a Jonah there’s hope for you, and we’ve all been Jonah at some point in our lives, its those moments of regret that fuel us to follow the goading of the SPIRIT.

This hit me like a ton of bricks:

Stop looking at your past and others opinions to find value in yourself, your Father in heaven deemed you so worthy HE sent HIS SON to die!

Stop trying to define your successes by the world’s standards and look at how God sees you! To HIM you are perfect, flaws and all! HE knows you mess up, HE knows you have bad days but HE loves you anyways and gives unmerited Grace and favor!

You are a child of the most high God, walk in your power child, stop living in fear, be bold in who you are, shout it out! Let the world know that God saved your soul and there ain’t nothing gonna steal your joy!

To the one overwhelmed with loss, God sees you, to the one overwhelmed with sickness, God sees you, to the one overwhelmed by addiction, God sees you.

You may feel utterly alone in this world like no one cares, but thats a lie straight from the enemy. You are loved with a love so powerful, so great, it’s inconceivable, God loves you so much HE sent HIS only SON to save your soul! God will meet you right where you are as you are, but once you meet with HIM you’ll be forever changed. This life brings many hardships, ups and downs, but with Jesus I have HOPE and a purpose. I know it’s by the Grace of God that I’m still alive, and I know there’s someone out there needing someone to reach out to them tell them it’s gonna be alright, the Father is calling out to you, HE wants to hold you in HIS love and Mercy, please don’t run anymore, I know you’re tired and I know you’ve tried everything you can think of, but God can fill you in ways the world can’t and make you new! Please just heed HIS call!

So today as I was on my way home from work, God showed me something awesome that I need to share.

Consider how the tree branches out, so that those who may need rest find it, much like we are called to branch out and share the Gospel as the only true rest and peace is in Christ! I’m asking my brothers and sisters In Christ to lift up those in need, stay rooted in the cause, and branch out and share the word of Christ! In short, Be the tree!
